About Lily Lane Consulting
Lily Lane Consulting LLC was established in 2022 by Dr. Denine Rood, whose 40-year career spans finance, consulting, and higher education administration. Her proven strategic planning, leadership coaching, project management, facilitation, and writing skills have been successfully employed by over 50 organizations ranging from small, closely held manufacturing companies to large educational institutions.
Currently, Dr. Rood specializes in institutional accreditation, strategic planning, technical writing, and process improvement. Her proven niche is in aiding two-year colleges as they prepare for the comprehensive evaluation required of all higher education institutions in the United States. She also assists institutions in responding to the continuous improvement efforts prompted by this evaluation process through strategy development, facilitated process discussions, mentoring, and technical writing of policies and procedures.
Dr. Rood recognizes the unique challenges faced by small, rural colleges, including tight budgets and personnel that “wear many hats.” Having experienced this environment for the 23 years she spent as an educational administrator, she appreciates that sometimes an institution can benefit from short-term assistance in order to achieve a goal.
